How to Draw a Cartoon Moose – let’s Get Started!

Step 1

In this guide, we’ll render the head of a smiling moose and start with the outlines of the head and face. Although this is a cartoon rendering and a bit exaggerated, it is true to the general shape of a moose’s head and face. First, use curved lines for the hairy top of the head.

These will then become a longer curved line for the muzzle of the face. Finally, we’ll use long, thin shapes for the large nostrils before encircling them with the tip of the snout.

Step 2: Next, Draw Some Facial Details and Finish the Mouth

Now we will add some points on the face and the rest of the mouth in this stage of our How to Draw a cartoon moose guide. First, we’ll fill the nostrils with solid black to give them more depth. Below you will see that we have added many small curved lines inside the outlines of the teeth to show where they separate. Finally, outline the bottom edge of the mouth to complete it, and then we can move on.

Step 3: Currently Remove the Visions and Some Pelt Underneath the Chair.

Form by marking an elliptical body for the outline of the eyes, then add a curved line underneath. The pupil will be marked as a more diminutive raven oval with some little white bodies. Once drawn, we’ll use curved lines with sharp tips for the beard-like jagged hairs under the moose’s face. That’s all there is to this degree, so allow’s drag on to dance 4!

Step 4: Following, Remove the Ear and Better of the Lead

The ear will be smooth and rounded on the lid but then have rough borders on the base perimeter to give it a more hairy appearance. Add some more curved lines inside to show the inside of the ear. Next, we will draw the base of the neck. This is where you can change something up a period. The neck is drawn as a section that ends, almost as if this head were a trophy. You can draw it as we did or expand it to show more of the neck and body. It’s up to you to decide!

Step 5: Now, Start Drawing the Antlers

These horns can be tricky, so do your best to copy our reference image as best you can. Nowadays, a lengthy curved stripe on the left will live with more diminutive round figures on the privilege. We can continue to the following step when it looks like our example!

Step 6 – Next, Finish the First Woods

We’ll finish the first timbers you started in the previous step before getting to the final details in the next step. The top half of the antlers will be many smaller, thinner shapes instead of longer curved lines like the base. It is then time to move on to the final details!

Step 7 – Following, Remove the Last Hints

You are now ready to finish the final details of this cartoon moose drawing! First, we will draw the second woods. You’ve already removed one, so this double one should be more comfortable! We then finished by drawing smaller curved lines on the face and neck to add texture. You can also add additional details or ideas of your own! We’ve mentioned extending the neck and showing more of the body, but what else can you think of?

Step 8 – Now Complete With Some Paint

Our reference image shows you one of many ways to color this moose. We’ve used different shades of tan for the head, neck, and antlers, but you can also opt for any additional or alternate colors. You might as well have fun choosing the art tools and media you’d like for this drawing,
